Consider a recession, a period of low economic activity. With lower demand for goods and services, firms start laying off workers and at the same time refrain from raising prices. So unemployment rises and inflation falls during recessions.
During the new morality of the 1920s, it had helped woman to
work and go to colleges and their sense of fashion started to look more
youthful as it change despite that, the automobile played a role in encouraging
the new morality because this has helped the youth of the nation to be more
independent in which they are not likely to be dependent towards others.
Answer: A lower price for a substitute decreases demand for the other product. A higher price for a substitute good has the reverse effect. Other goods are complements for each other, meaning that the goods are often used together, because consumption of one good tends to enhance consumption of the other.
