Major makes a stirring political speech on the injustices that their human captors have imposed upon them and the necessity for animals to fight against Man's tyranny.

  • The reader is given an introduction to the environment (a farm), Mr. Jones, and the animals. In contrast to the animals' current misery under Mr. Jones and their future suffering at the hands of the pigs, Major's speech presents an idealized image of the future.
  • The fundamental theme of Animal Farm is how ordinary people may still have trust in a movement that has been wholly deceived. Orwell claims that Napoleon and the other pigs in command work to sabotage the revolution's promise of democracy.

Thus this is the main idea of chapter 1 in animal farm.

In the technical drawings of Bell's telephone; which components are labeled 2 and 3?
seropon [69]

Hello. You have not shown the image to which this question is related, which makes it impossible for the structures marked 2 and 3 to be identified. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way, showing you the structures on the phone created by Graham Bell.

The phone he created had a kind of drum, a container where all the other structures of the phone were positioned. Among these structures there was a kind of membrane, a blade, an electromagnet and a coil. The whole system worked as follows: The user would speak near the membrane that would vibrate with the sound waves, causing the blade to tremble near the electromagnet. This movement would generate stimulate the eleotromagan to create sound vibrations towards the coil. These sound vibrations would be transformed into electrical vibrations within metallic wires that would lead them to the other phone, creating the entire vibration process that would allow the sound of the user's voice to be emitted.
