Identify the role the evaporution and condensation play in earths water cycle
Tanzania [10]
Evaporation and condensation play major roles in the Earth's water cycle and how it functions. When water evaporates from the ocean due to the sun's energy, it rises in the air and condenses as clouds. Wind carries these clouds over land and eventually these cloud condense more by starting to rain. Once the rain falls, it runs off, and some/most of it returns back to the ocean, where the cycle repeats again. Hope this helps!

The level of carbon dioxide was measured in a garden and on a city road. Where do you think the carbon dioxide level will be hig
Ad libitum [116K]
The carbon dioxide level in the city will be higher because the exhaust gases from vehicles release carbon dioxide and there are not many trees to utilize it.

Plants go through photosynthesis using carbon dioxide, releasing oxygen in the process, so more of the carbon dioxide is used in the garden. Plus, there is more carbon dioxide in the city to begin with, simply because there are more vehicles with more exhaust.

Unlike the carbon cycle, the phosphorous cycle does not involve
irga5000 [103]
The phosphorus cycle is a natural cycle that occurs through rocks, water, soil, sediments, and other organisms found on Earth. Phosphorus is a natural chemical compound found in soil; rain and other forms of weathering causes the release of this compound in the environment. Plants absorb phosphorus from the soil and in turn are consumed by animals and humans. This chemical compound is an essential form of nutrient that is responsible for cell development both in humans and animals.

Unlike the carbon cycle, the phosphorus cycle does not need the involvement of human activity for it to occur. But humans take advantage of this naturally occurring process through farming. Humans apply phosphate fertilizers to their crops in various farmlands.
