It must be applied overload during in your sport or physical activity because, The body must be overloaded during the exercise session for a favourable adaptation to take place. In order for the body to adapt, it must be overworked.

A fundamental idea in sports fitness training is the overload principle. It implies that athletes must continually exert more effort as their bodies change in response to previous exercises in order to progress. He wouldn't make much progress if the training load wasn't adjusted to push him to greater levels of strength. It is inevitable that your body will improve in many facets of physical fitness if you subject it to deliberate overloading. In essence, this development will be visible in improved flexibility, stretching, endurance, strength, and general fitness. Speaking of fitness, your capacity to withstand overloading is used to gauge your level of this physical quality.
