The Region of Terror, a time during the French Revolution, roughly from March 1793 to July 1794, when the ruling side brutally killed many people.

What is Region of Terror?

The French Revolution's 1792–1793 period is referred to as the "Reign of Terror." Robespierre, the head of the Jacobin movement, put anyone who seemed to be antagonistic to the republic in prison using a revolutionary tribunal.

If found guilty, they were guillotined to death.

The Reign of Terror, commonly known as the Terror, was a period of state-approved violence and mass executions that occurred during the French Revolution.

Between September 5, 1793, and July 27, 1794, the revolutionary French government allowed the arrest and execution of thousands of people.

Maximilien Robespierre led the radicals who overthrew the government and began the Reign of Terror.

How did john marshall's supreme court promote the spirit of nationalism and counter growing sectionalism through its rulings in
gregori [183]
McCulloch v Maryland set up federal supremacy by stopping a state bank from taxing the federal bank. It solidified the power of the central government over the state government. Dartmouth v Woodward said that the states couldn't invalidate individual contracts, it decreased the states' power. Gibbons v Ogden clarified the "commerce clause" in the Constitution by giving the federal government the power to regulate interstate navigation. All the decisions emphasized the power of the federal government and the decline of some states' rights. They helped consolidate and change the nation from a union of states to a single nation.
