"The Fifth Amendment ensures the right to a remain silent, grand jury, protection of citizens from dual jeopardy, stops self-incrimination, secures due process of law, and prohibits the government from claiming private property without fair compensation. The Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution laid a number of rights concerning legal cases, including that no one “shall be forced in any criminal case to be a witness against himself”.
