In his theory of absolute advantage, Adam Smith maintained that a nation's imports and exports should be decided by the invisible hand of the market mechanism as opposed to governmental action.

In his book The Wealth of Nations from the 18th century, economist Adam Smith introduced the idea of absolute advantage to explain how nations might profit from trade by specializing in manufacturing and exporting the things that they can manufacture more successfully than other nations. Absolute winners might choose to focus on manufacturing and selling a particular commodity or service, and then use the money they make to buy goods and services from other nations.

The rationale for why it is advantageous for people, companies, and nations to trade with one another is based on absolute advantage. Each has a distinct edge in manufacturing certain items and services, therefore the exchange will be advantageous to both parties.

RUDIKE [14]

Amy had a nasty experience jumping off a diving board when she was a little girl. She still views herself as a poor swimmer. Her self-concept was impacted by that incident.

What do you understand by self-concept?

Self-concept refers to how we view our actions, skills, and distinctive qualities. For instance, a person's general self-concept may include statements like "I am a nice person" or "I am a compassionate person." Because it influences our motives, attitudes, and behaviors, our opinion of ourselves is crucial.

A belief you have about yourself is called a self-concept.

Self-concept examples include thinking of yourself as an introvert, extrovert, sports enthusiast, family man, or supporter of a particular political party.

Our beliefs about who we are and how we see ourselves make up our self-concept.

How did the native people and colonists exchange both knowledge and materials to make new medicines?
musickatia [10]

Explanation:

During that time period, medicine was made of plants. As the world and it's native people continued to evolve, more and more about medicines were discovered. The colonists (from civilized countries) and native people exchanged many ideas, knowledge, and materials as they crossed paths. Some of these exchanges happened during the Age of Exploration. For examples, European colonists discovered the Americas. They also came across the Native Americans of that land. The Colonists brought materials and ideas with them, introducing it to the native people. Whereas, the Native Americans did the very same thing. This simple, but complex exchange happens in our every day lives and more medicines will continue to be discovered and created.
