What was the speed during first and also cooldown
devlian [24]

Hi Braniac

S = his speed for the 1st 20 mi

(s-2) = His speed for the last 16 mi

We know that :

time= distance/ speed

initial time = cool down time

20/s = 16/(s-2)

Now cross multiply

20(s-2) =16s

20s-40=16s

20s-16s=40

4s = 40

Now we need to divide both sides by 4 so we can find the speed

4s/4 = 40/4

s= 10 mph

His initial speed is 10mph

Now let's find his cool down speed

10-2 = 8mph

His cool down speed is 8mph

I hope that's help :)

Plz plz plz help plz plz
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

b. 360

Step-by-step explanation:

If they are getting 180 packages and each case has 12 packages then you would need to do 180/12 to get the amount of cases they are buying aka 15 cases. 2 packages cost $48 so 1 package would cost $28. Then you would do $28 times 15cases and get $360

In more # and less words

180/12=15  getting 15 cases

48/2=24 cost of 1 case

15(24)=320 The total amount

I hope this helped!

Cual es la simplificacion de 66/81
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

Answer:

Hence the simplification of \dfrac{66}{81} is \dfrac{22}{27}

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>" Simplification is the process of replacing a mathematical expression by an equivalent one, that is simpler (usually shorter), </em>

<em>for example</em><em>: Simplification of a fraction to an irreducible fraction ". </em>

Here we are given a fraction as:

\dfrac{66}{81}

As both the numerator and denominator are divisible by a factor of 3 hence we take out the common factor and obtain the reduced fraction which is further irreducible.

As 66=3×22  and 81=3×27

Hence \dfrac{66}{81}=\dfrac{3\times22}{3\times27}=\dfrac{22}{27}

Hence the simplification of \dfrac{66}{81} is \dfrac{22}{27}
