Southern states seceded from the United States after Abraham Lincoln
Mekhanik [1.2K]

Answer:

I think it is B

Explanation:

Southern states that seceded immediately after Lincoln's election in 1860 did so because they had already been planning it in the event of a Republican victory. Their motivation involved what they perceived as a threat to the institution of slavery, which their economy was dependent upon.

Explain why you think the close ties between church and state in Massachusetts helped or hurt their government?
Sladkaya [172]
The close ties between the church and the state in Massachusetts did not help the government, but rather hurt the government. Although the Church and the government had close ties with each other but still it was not right for the church to have a say in the government. Church would always want the members of their religion in the government and that would have a negative impact on the government and people as a whole. General people’s ideas would not find importance if the government was controlled by the church.

Describe how lincoln's election led to the South's secession.
Tom [10]
The secession of Southern States led to the establishment of the Confederacy and ultimately the Civil War. It was the most serious secession movement in the United States and was defeated when the Union armies defeated the Confederate armies in the Civil War, 1861-65. Hope this helps, good luck! :)

suppose that a population of skunks live on an isolated island.if 500 skunks are present today and the birth rate is 65 per week
nirvana33 [79]
If you divide 105 days by 7 that's 15 weeks then you multiply 47 by 15 which is 705 then you multiply 65 by 15 which is 975 then you add 975 to 500 and subtract 705 which will give you 770
