My biggest fear is balloons.
I have a fear of balloons but not just looking at them, No No No. When they pop, fly away, or if I touch them that is what triggers my fear. At birthday parties I stay away from them and never have any at my own.

Anna [14]

It is through operant conditioning.

The behaviour shown in operant conditioning is controlled by the consequences. Every time Eric thinks about skiing, he remembers his childhood experience of being buried in an avalanche and is afraid of that incident repeating again. Thinking of that as the consequence of skiing, Eric does not want to go skiing again and refuses the invitations.

Describe the pattern
2,6,12,20,30 Describe the pattern
2,6,12,20,30
Alla [95]
To describe the pattern, maybe it would be helpful to find the difference between terms. We do as follows:

30 - 20 = 10
20 - 12 = 8
12 - 6 = 6
6 - 2 = 4

As we can see the pattern's difference is a factor of two. The differences are divisible by 2. Hope this helps. Have a nice day.
