Alison have 100 baseballs cards .

  • A expression is a statement containing at least two numbers/variables and at least one mathematical operation.
  • An expression is a combination of terms  combined by  mathematical operations such as subtraction, addition, multiplication, and division.
  • The terms that appear in the formula are:
  • Constant: A constant is a fixed number.
  • Variables: Variables are symbols that do not have fixed values.
  • Term: A term can be a single constant, a single variable, or a combination of variables and constants combined with multiplication or division.
  • Coefficient: A coefficient is a number that is multiplied by a variable in an expression.

Let the number of footballs cards Alison have be "x".

It is given that Allison has 5 times as many baseball cards as football cards which can be represented by an expression given by

number of baseball cards = 5 × number of football cards

number of baseball cards =5x               ...(1)

She has total of 120 baseball and football cards which can be represented by an expression given by

     Baseball cards + football cards = 120

                          5x+x=120\\6x=120\\x=20

From equation (1) , put x = 20  we get

     Baseball cards = 5\times20

                               =100 cards

Please help me! I am really struggling with this...
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

44°

Step-by-step explanation:

The secant- secant angle y is half the difference of the measure of its intercepted arcs, that is

\frac{1}{2}(BHF - CGJ ) = y , that is

\frac{1}{2}(156 - CGH) = 56° ( multiply both sides by 2 )

156 - CGH = 112° , thus

CGH = 156° - 112° = 44°

Flura [38]
The answer is A because if you cancel out the 3 on the left then you need to do the same with the right, and 18÷3=6. so you keep the inequality sign the same and BAM!!
