Author Chinua Achebe believed that while feminine represents weakness, masculinity represents virtue. He exudes an obsession with just being male in every manner, including a fascination with wealth, power, and the traditional roles in which men and women were treated equally.

The story tackles the concept of masculinity by following Okonkwo's progress to become a strong man in his tribe as well as subsequent collapse, both within his tribe and in sight of his son Nwoye. Okonkwo devotes himself to becoming macho as possible. Okonkwo laments the lack of aggression displayed by his kid Nwoye because he adheres to traditional gender roles. Since of this, it's telling that he says he wishes his child Ezinma were a guy because it shows how much he loves her.

Evgesh-ka [11]
Alliteration rain poem :
Rain
Rain races onto the porch
Hitting hard like
Rockets rushing in a race to the glass.
Rattling rain, rattling the window panes.
The droplets dance daintily
Until they cleverly connect in
A pool of promise for a rainbow.
