When an object hits the ground?

Mathematics

Objects fall because there is force of gravity which pulls the things down on Earth.

Explanation:

Gravity is an imaginary power. While an item is in free fall, it is inertial - no net power following up on it. At the point when the falling article hits the ground, there is just one power following up on it: the inter molecular powers of the material of the ground acting upward keeping the particles that make the ball from infiltrating.

The ground (Earth) and the object both have gravity corresponding to their mass. Objects with mass are attracted to each other by the force of gravity because of which the things fall on the ground.

Can anyone help me to understand how u add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions like explain how u do it using an example:) Pl
kotykmax [81]
Adding fractions:
Lets say you have two fractions like 1/2 and 1/3. To add them, you have to make the denominator the same. So we find the least common multiple of 2 and 3, which is 6, so we multiple 1/2 by 3/3 so we have 3/6 without changing the value, and we multiple 1/3 by 2/2 to have 2/6. Then we add the numerators and have 5/6.

Subtraction fractions:
Same thing as adding, just subtracting instead.
Both need to make sure you have the same denominator.

Multiplying fractions:
This is the most simple. All you do is multiply the numerators and the denominators. So if you have 5/6 and 3/4, you multiply the numerators to have 15, the denominators to have 24, and so you have 15/24, simplified to 5/8.

Dividing fractions:
If you have 5/6 divided by 3/4, you flip the 3/4 to 4/3, and you multiply that with 5/6.

What is true about domain and range of the function?
zlopas [31]

Answer:

Another way to identify the domain and range of functions is by using graphs. Because the domain refers to the set of possible input values, the domain of a graph consists of all the input values shown on the x-axis. The range is the set of possible output values, which are shown on the y-axis.

Subtract. Express your answer in lowest terms. 10 5/11 - 4 2/11
jolli1 [7]

Answer:

6 3/11

Step-by-step explanation:

Subtract the whole numbers: 10 - 4 = 6

Subtract the fractions: 5/11 - 2/11 = 3/11

10 5/11 - 4 2/11 = 6 3/11

At the end of a snow storm, Tristan saw there was a lot of snow on his front lawn. The
dybincka [34]

Answer:S(t)=12-0.75t

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The snow started melting at a rate of 0.75 inches per hour and it is known that 4 hours after the storm ended, after the storm ended, the depth of snow was down to 9 inches.

Snow melted in 4 hours = 0.75\times4 =3\text{ inches}

Initial depth of snow = 9 + 3 inches = 12 inches.

Now, depth of snow on Tristan's lawn = Initial depth -0.75(Number of hours)

Let S(t) be the depth of snow on Tristan's lawn, in inches, t hours after the snow stopped falling.

Then, S(t)=12-0.75t
