In pure competition, each extra unit of output that a firm sells will yield a marginal revenue that is equal to the price. The additional money made from selling one more unit of output is known as marginal revenue. The formula is the total income change divided by the output or quantity change.

The price times the quantity determines total revenue, and since the price is fixed for each thing sold, the marginal revenue in a market with just competitive products is only the product's price. As a result, in a market where there is pure competition, demand equals both marginal and average revenues.

SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

(Decrease, Increase)

Explanation:

When the government formulates and implements policies aimed at increasing equality, the society will experience a reduction in the level of efficiency. For example, an increase in income tax on wealthiest Americans, and redistribution of the tax revenue to the poorest Americans would may discourage the wealthy from taking more income-generating activities which create jobs, this is not optimal. At the same time, this policy would reduces the peoples’ incentive to work hard to earn their own money.

Owens Corporation uses a process costing system. For March, the beginning work in process inventory consisted of 60,000 units th
Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer:

C) $4.02

Explanation:

The computation of cost per equivalent unit for processing cost for March is shown below:-

As we know that

Beginning work in process inventory units + Units started into production  = Ending work in process inventory units + Units completed and transferred out

60,000 + 190,000 = Units in ending work in process inventory + 200,000

Units in ending work in process inventory is

= 60,000 + 190,000 - 200,000

= 50,000

To complete the beginning work in process inventory:-

Processing:                                                     24,000

60,000 units ×(100% - 60%) a

Units started and completed                          140,000

(200,000 − 60,000) b

Ending work in process inventory Processing:

50,000 units × 20% c                                      10,000

Equivalent units of production                        174,000

Cost added throughout the period e            7,00,000

Equivalent units of production f                     174,000

Cost per equivalent unit e ÷ f                             $4.02

Suppose the following information was taken from the 2022 financial statements of FedEx Corporation, a major global transportati
kifflom [539]

Answer:

9.6 times ; 37.9 days

Explanation:

The computation of the accounts receivable turnover and the average collection period is shown below:

Accounts receivable turnover ratio  = Credit sales ÷ average accounts receivable

where,

Average accounts receivable = (Opening balance of Accounts receivable + ending balance of Accounts receivable) ÷ 2

= ($4,350 + $3,150) ÷ 2

= $3,750 million

And, the net credit sale is $36,100 million

Now put these values to the above formula

So, the answer would be equal to

= $36,100 million ÷  $3,750 million

= 9.6 times

And, the Average collection period in days = Total number of days in a year ÷ accounts receivable turnover ratio

= 365 days ÷ 9.63 times

= 37.9 days
