Now since I don’t know the height at the present moment, I’ll just make this ratio (of the tree) be represented as x/36. Which is saying that for every ‘x’ amount of feet, there will be 36 feet of shadow.
so we have 4/3=x/36. If I cross multiply 36 and 4, then divide the product by 3, then ‘x’ will be 48.
