There are a lot of cultural differences identified by Ashima between her life in America and her life in India.

Characters in The Namesake frequently contrast Indian and American lifestyles. Many facets of American culture are alien to Indian immigrants like Ashima and Ashoke, who also feel alienated in American society. While adjusting to American culture, they strive to uphold some Indian traditions. Indian-American characters like Gogol and Moushumi frequently experience culture shock while living in both India and the United States, as if they are caught between the cultures of their parents and their own. They frequently experience the same feelings as visitors, but unlike most tourists, they are unlikely to return home.

Sonnets written in English are most commonly written in iambic pentameter.
This means that there are ten syllables in a line (penta means five, and a meter has two syllables, so five times two is ten), and iambic refers to the fact that the first syllable is always unstressed, and the one which follows it is stressed.

inysia [295]
I think that Macduff fled because he saw the murdered of King Duncan inside the bedchambers of Macbeth. He left his castle and went to England. Macduff went to see Malcolm and had offered his support in overthrowing Macbeth from the throne. Macduff did this out of revenge after Macbeth had also murdered his family.
