“Araby” examines how a young boy’s crush on a neighborhood girl affects his daily life. In a brief essay, explain how the narrat

or’s fantasies about Mangan’s sister serve to heighten his anger at the end of the story.
the answer :
" The narrator dreams that he and the girl share a walk through the market and that he is a hero of sorts to her. His desire for the girl makes him emotionally vulnerable, which is why he offered to buy the girl something from the bazaar. When he was unable to purchase the gift, he realizes the futility of his daydreams, because they were turned into a reality."

tatiyna

This poem , “Nothing Gold Can Stay”, by Robert Frost is a very short poem, consisting of only eight lines. However, the message is clear.

Question: How does the image in these lines help convey the idea that beauty is temporary?

Answer: A. by expressing that blossoms only have a limited life span

Robert Frost wants to convey in this poem that nothing, however beautiful and perfect in nature, can last forever. In the beginning of the poem he uses the image of a plant getting leaves and blossoms again in the spring, they are very delicate and so beautiful, but that is how life is. At first we as people are tender and fragile and beautiful, but we all die one day and then it is over, which is the inevitable cycle of life.
