Your catering company has been awarded a contract for 250 shrimp salad sandwiches. using the information respond to the followin
almond37 [142]

Answer:

$875

Explanation:

In this problem, we know that the cost of 1 sandwich is

c=\$3.50

If we have a total of N sandwiches, then the total cost to produce them can be found by using the rule of three:

\frac{1}{c}=\frac{N}{C}

where C is the total cost to make N sandwiches.

By re-arranging the formula, we find:

C=Nc

where in this problem, the number of sandwiches is

N = 250

And therefore, the total cost here is:

C=(250)(\$3.50)=\$875
