The Taiga is a biome of the subarctic region in the Northern Hemisphere. Places that have Taigas include Canada, Siberia, and Alaska (which is isolated from the United States). Some animals that reside in Taigas are wolves, lynxes, tigers, and even reindeer. An economic importance of Taiga is that it covers over 15% of land and lumberers use its trees to their advantages, most of which include musical instruments and paper materials.
