  • Various sources have provided Historians, the evidences about Iroquois tribe, that they had inhibited in the areas of Ontario and Upstate New York over 4000 years, and they were engaged in agricultural activities .

Initially there were five tribes ( Seneca, Mohawk, Oneida, Cayuga, Onondaga) ,  which got united around 1500s, and constructed a strong Bilateral political system, <em>like of the Modern congress in United States</em>.

There were two houses in which one house consisted of the Members of Seneca and Mohawk tribe and the other house consisted the members of Oneida and Cayuga,

and the veto power was held upon by the Onondaga tribe.

It is considered that, they do had a unwritten constitution, long before when there was merely any sign of these ideas existed in other regions.

The women had a special place in their society, they decide about food and were regarded with earth as it has power to create life.

One of the most important feature of Iroquois society was, LONGHOUSE,

these are considered to be as long as a football field and whole families lived in these houses of these tribes.

Whereas,  Natives of the plains were, used to lived in both kind of     sedentary and Nomadic communities, they were also engaged in agricultural activities along with hunting and gathering.

They had their sedentary houses as, earthen lodges (<em>houses built of mud and woods</em>), and in Nomadic form they built teepees (<em>conical shelters made of buffalo skin and wood</em>).

They were also engaged in trade of baskets and leather in exchange of metals and furs.

In their villages it is considered that there was only a minor political structure, and ritually they were inclined towards the nature, and they used to make sacrifice of their personnel belongings to sun.

  •  The Indigenous people of the Great basin, were located between the Rocky mountains and the Sierra Nevada. This culture also sometimes refers as the desert culture.

The most important thing that make this tribe different from the Iroquois tribe is, that there were many different ethnic groups in the great basin and they all share many elements of a common culture.

It is estimated that, prior to the 20th century, the tribes in the great basin were pre-dominantly hunters and gatherers unlike the Iroquois's.

Unlike the Iroquois, they had shared some traits with the native tribes of the plains,  and also had developed a horse riding and bison riding hunting culture.

mojhsa [17]

During the early Cold War as well as its later stages, Japan occupied a distinct role vis-à-vis its Western allies and Communist enemies. Always more of an economic than a security partner, Japan formed both a pivot of US–led containment in East Asia and an occasional rival.
