Doppio Movement is a section of the musical composition known as Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copeland who was a foremost musical composer.

He wrote the piece to be performed by an orchestra of 13 members who would take advantage of a set of variations which are five in nunber to make the music piece come alive.

Doppio Movemento shows a progression of acts depicting a woman and her husband who takes the role of a farmer.

The entire Appalachian Spring was first performed in 1944 when the Library of Congress in Washington was filled to listen to the latest work of Aaron Copeland.
