To minimize the extent to which outcome differences between experimental and control conditions can be attributed to placebo effects, researchers make use of double-blind procedure.

Placebo effects also called as dummy treatment are tablets and injections that do not have any physiological significance but it gives a psychological effect to the patient that can have a positive impact on the recovery of the patient.

It is usually given during clinical trial to understand the practical application of drugs. The patient do know whether they have been given the placebo or the real medicine.

Double-blind procedure is a method of clinical trial in which both the doctors and participants are unaware which treatment is given to which candidate in order to minimize the bias from the trials.

9. You want to set up an assay starting with a sliding clamp bound to DNA. What special property must the DNA have to establish
aev [14]

Answer:

The DNA must be able to separate its two strands in order to be connected to the sliding clamp.

For this to occur, the action of the protein components: helicase and topoisomerase is necessary.

Explanation:

The sliding clamp is a protein that participates in DNA replication. This protein is responsible for forming a "ring" around the single strand of DNA, allowing the polymer DNA (DNA replicating enzyme) to be firmly suited to the strand and to be able to create the new DNA strands. The sliding clamp is also responsible for the DNA polymerase decoupling from the DNA at the end of replication.

For the sliding clamp to work correctly, it is necessary for the DNA to unravel and release its two strands. This process needs the help of the Helicase enzymes, which are responsible for breaking the hydrogen bonds that hold the two DNA strands together, and, for topoisomerase, which is the enzyme that prevents single strands of DNA from creating torsions in their extension.

For the vast majority, sustenance entering the nasal cavity when eating isn't a noteworthy issue. Which was a major cause of the Pequot War And King Philips War?
Keith_Richards [23]
A major cause of the Pequot War and King Philips War were b)disagreements between Indians and colonists about land use and ownership. Many of the settlers wanted to use the land to live there with their families and wanted to trap animals to eventually sell them for fur-trading purposes, while the Native Americans saw it as their historical land where generations had lived there for years and wanted to continue to live there.
