Question 1:

(6x+1)/7 = (18x-2)/14

Multiply both sides by 14

2(6x+1)=18x-2

12x+2=18x-2

Subtract both sides by 12x and add both sides by 2

4=6x

Divide both sides by 6

x = 2/3

Question 2:

Add all the components

2+3+4=9

Divide that from 63

63/9 = 7

Multiply that by 3, Alana's portion.

7*3 = 21

Question 3:

3ab : 27ab

Divide both sides by 3ab

1 : 9

That's one answer.
Multiply both sides by 2

2 : 18

That's another answer.

Multiply both sides of 1:9 by 9a

9a : 81a

That's another answer, and that's all of it.

Hope this helps! :)
