Independent Regulatory Commissions are considered as quasi-legislative because they are independent of the executive branch but not the legislative branch.

Further Explanation:

Quasi-legislative bodies are those public administrative agencies which makes rules for the legislative branch of the government. The agencies exist at the federal level, state level and local level. The United Nations General Assembly is a quasi-legislative body. The independent commission is known as independent agencies. They work outside the executive department. The presidential power to brush aside the agency members is limited. They are formed by the separate statutes passed by Congress. They have the power to make the rules and regulations. The appointment of the Board Members is done by President with the permission of the Senate.

The commission is generally loyal towards President’s wishes. Presidents have the authority to dismiss the head of the commission, but certain statutory requirements need to be met for its removal. There is a difference among the independent agency and independent regulatory agency. List 19 has enumerated independent regulatory agencies.

The head of these agencies can be removed for certain reason. For example, the environmental protection agency actions and works are served "at the pleasure of the President”. The cost-benefitinvestigation is required for some regulatory agencies which are not applied for independent regulatory agencies.

Here are how the two of them connected :

1. The higher our self-esteem, the more positive characteristics that we will put in our self-concept.

People who are comfortable in being themselves, will openly accept their own talents and their own defect. They will constantly hone their talent and make it a part of their identity within the social group.

2. Our Self-concept will be influenced by other people's feedback. Higher self-esteem will help you handle negative feedback from others, making your self-concept become more stable compared to people with lower self-esteem.

Define the 24th Amendment
Verizon [17]

Answer: The 24th Amendment ended the poll tax.The 24th amendment was proposed on August 27, 1962, and passed on January 23, 1964. The congress has the power to enforce this article. Not long ago, citizens in some states had to pay a fee to vote in an election. This money was called a poll tax. The 24th amendment was important to the Civil Rights Movement as it ended mandatory poll taxes that prevented many African Americans. Poll taxes, , effectively prevented African Americans from having any sort of political power, but greatly in the South. When the 24th amendment passed, five southern states, Virginia, Alabama, Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi still had poll taxes.

On January 23, 1964, the U.S. ratified the 24th Amendment to the Constitution, prohibiting any poll tax in elections for officials. The Congress has the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. If a citizen does not have enough money to pay poll tax to vote, it would be unconstitutional to not let those people vote.
