D. The Balinese production feels bright and airy, while the Utah Valley University production is dark and doom-filled.

WHen you see the both produtions side by side, evethoug the balinese productions uses shadows and almost no color, it feels bright and airy, while the UVU producitions uses hard shadows on the characters faces and has a darker tone than the Balinese.

In lines 5-8 and 13-16 of the poem which figurative device does the poet use to create a feeling of hopelessness
Taya2010 [7]

Answer:

Poet is using personification

Explanation:

Frozen branches—heavy with ice arms— Couldn't perform their dance

Trees and brances can't dance, but the poet is giving them human possibilities.

Personification is a way of giving human feelings to objects, plants, animals, and abstract concepts. By reviving things, phenomena, in general, something inanimate, they create images that have a strong effect on the reader.

The song for each worker is special, because it is his and no one else's. His song is what makes each one a great worker. It is a poem about masons, carpenters, working mothers, plows, mechanics and boatmen who meet to sing about their work. At the end of the day the workers gather as one song and celebrate.
