Why do southern states have more military bases? (APEX)
alexdok [17]

Answer:

southern states have so many military bases apex because of power in congressional committees.

During the 20th centuries, Southern States' politicians always push for a larger military budget (since most of them came from Republican party) that lead to the construction of more military bases in the south.  But since there is no attack came within U.S border beside the pearl harbor attack, many of those bases became unused.
