Snezhnost [94]

Answer:

So let's count some of the ways that the federal government influences our daily lives. We eat safer food, take tested medications, breathe cleaner air and drink purer water all because of the government our tax dollars support. Some of the most common ways that a government may attempt to influence a country's economic activities are by adjusting the cost of borrowing money (by lowering or raising the interest rate), managing the money supply, and controlling the use of credit. Collectively, these policies are referred to as monetary policy.

vesna_86 [32]

a. unite Native Americans in a vast confederacy; The Shawnee leader Tecumseh formed a vast confederacy of Native Americans.

More about Shawnee leader Tecumseh:

Tecumseh's Indian Confederacy successfully delayed further white settlement in the region for several years. However, in 1811, future President William Henry Harrison led an attack on the Confederacy's Tippecanoe River base. Tecumseh was in the South at the time, attempting to persuade more tribes to join his movement. Although the battle of Tippecanoe was close, Harrison eventually won and destroyed a large portion of Tecumseh's army.

When the War of 1812 broke out the following year, Tecumseh immediately mobilised his remaining army to aid the British. He was promoted to brigadier general and was an effective ally in the British capture of Detroit and other battles. When the tide of war shifted in favour of the Americans, Tecumseh's fortunes sank along with those of the British. He was killed during the Battle of the Thames on October 5, 1813.

How did Jesus respond to the Pharisees who asked Jesus to quiet down
katrin [286]

Answer:

He spoke of His second coming and told parables of the kingdom of God

Explanation:

According to the Gospels, Jesus Christ rode on a donkey into Jerusalem, and the celebrating people there laid down their cloaks and small branches of trees in front of him, singing Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord

Jesus wanted to let his disciples know that he was not sending them on a “go-for” mission—the equivalent of a modern day Starbuck's run. Little did these two disciples know that their task was critical to the Palm Sunday event. ... This donkey was born for Jesus' wonderful work.

For the Jews, Jerusalem was the holy City of God. When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, He fulfilled an Old Testament prophecy and left little doubt that He was accepting the title of Messiah. Jesus was adored by the crowds of people who had come to Jerusalem for Passover.

He spoke of His second coming and told parables of the kingdom of God. Most of all He said we must put our total trust in God and put that trust into action with kindness for other people
