Does this Intro paragraph sound good or bad?

Answer:

The first sentence is wonderful!

The rest of the paragraph (especially what I believe is a thesis) looks pretty weak to me. The second sentence is an opinion, which (depending on the assignment) may or not be what you were trying to go for.  Maybe rewrite it a bit, perhaps briefly telling what impact it has on the story. This can lead into the third sentence, which should probably be rewritten to something like:

"Though this quote has many different interpretations, it is about *INSERT YOUR INTERPRETATION HERE*."

The second part, after the comma of that sentence, should be tailored to fit your thesis/claim.

If this is an essay, I suggest you don't use first person ("Me" "I" etc.), unless that is what the assignment asks you to do. I know my teachers usually frown upon using first person in essays though...

REY [17]
On his way to work, Montang runs into Clarisse, for the second time, and again she questions him nonstop about his feelings towards his wife and work. When he arrives to the fire station, Montang passes the Mechanical Hound, an enormous robotic police dog, which is able to locate and get rid of its prey, once set to someone's chemical balance. Montang is alarmed when the dog growls at him, and tells his concern to his boss, Chief Beatty. His chief dismisses the problem, making arrogant references to the Mechanical Hound and Montang's daily dislike to it.

What does Antinous think should be done about the bow?
Mashutka [201]
The first one is a better answer because if he burned it then it’s not gonna work, if he gave up there’s other suitors who are willing to do it better, if he tried to sacrifice himself Apollo wouldn’t have been nice ab it but to shave it down is the best choice to make it lighter

xxMikexx [17]

Chaucer's descriptions from "The Monk's Tale" which best illustrates Fortune as deceitful is,

"Who then may trust the dice, at Fortune's throw?'

The Monk tale is a series of tragedies which represents the news that the wealth and position is just an illusion. He refers through the example of many falling from high to low ends, such as the example of Lucifer falling from heaven. Through such example and stories, he continues to show the people who have fallen from grace.

Model of tragedies which Monk offers is a Boethian one that is which is a reminder of the versatility of the life itself, to bring on top to those who are crashing down on the grounds and that the tendency of the feminine, whimsical fortune to spin her wheels. Hence, it is a simple narrative and Boethian reminder that high status often ends inadequately.
