Allusion is a figure of speech consisting of making a brief and indirect reference to something (like a phrase, a place, idea, a literary work) or someone that has a significance in our society. Line D employs this figure of speech when it briefly mentions Mozart, or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, an outstanding Austrian musician whose compositions have been considered some of the greatest classic songs of all time.
