In addition to white light, power driven vessels which are less than 20 meters must have red and green side lights which are visible from a distance of at least two miles away on a clear dark night. These navigation lights are expected to be displayed between sunset and sunrise and during period of impaired visibility. Power driven vessels refers to sail boats which are operating under engine power.

In addition to white light, the light used by the ship just before sunset is a navigation light

Further Explanation

Each ship must be equipped with a system to facilitate operations at sea. One of the regulations that govern this is COLREGS. This regulation regulates the installation and standard navigation equipment of the ship to prevent collisions between two or more ships.

Lights and shapes

 • Lights (markings at night) For ships L> 50 m
 • The visibility of the masthead light is 6 miles, and for other lights with a visibility of 3 miles For ships 12 m <L <50 m
 • Masthead light visibility of 5 miles, and for other lights with a visibility of 2 miles For installation of navigation lights on ships

Sidelight: red for Ps and green for SB Installation of these lamps must include visibility of 112.50 each from the centerline.

All-round light: white color

Installation of lights can be seen with a 360-degree range

Masthead lights: white color Installation of lights with continuous illumination capability with an angle of 2250

Shapes (markers during the day)

This sign is in the form of a ball, cone, diamond, cylinder, and triangle. The installation is combined so that it can be seen by other ships so that the ship's condition can be understood by other ships.

Elodia [21]

Answer:

It can purchase at most, $18.13 per share.

Or 72.52 millions for the total 4,000,000 shares

Explanation:

We are given with the present value of the merger at Craftworks discount rate. The shares can be purchase at most at the same level of the present value of the increase in the free cash flow.

That way, the net present value will be zero and the merger will yield the 16% required.

72,520,000 Millions

4,000,000 shares outstanding

price per share 18.13

The crafworks shares can be purchase at most for 18.13 above this, it would yield the 16% required

Currently the share are at 16.25 so it could be possible to do the take-over

This isn't really a business question, but generally vegetables would be a healthier choice for a pizza topping instead of meats and cheeses.

11. Calculating the price elasticity of supply Deborah is a college student who lives in San Francisco and does some consulting
oksian1 [2.3K]

Answer: 1.60

Explanation:

P1 = 30

P2 =50

Q1 = 6

Q2 = 16

Elasticity of supply:

=\frac{(7-3)}{(50-30)}\times\frac{(50+30)}{(7+3)}

=\frac{4}{20}\times\frac{80}{10}

= 1.60

Using the midpoint method, the elasticity of Deborah’s labor supply between the wages of $30 and $50 per hour is approximately 1.60, which means that Deborah’s supply of labor over this wage range is elastic.

Answer:

Emotion, Cultural superstitions, Perceived value, First Impressions, A Home That Tells a Story, Social Proof, The Ideal Lifestyle

Explanation:

There’s no denying that buying a home is a big decision and yet you may be surprised by the number of people who are influenced by factors other than price, resale value and location. From the number of a house to a lick of new paint on the walls, it seems we are influenced by emotion and aesthetic much more than we think

A firm sells a product in a perfectly competitive market. The marginal cost of the product at the current output level of 1,000
Sergio039 [100]

Answer:

The correct answer is "Continue producing 1000 units"

Explanation:

(In a perfect market)

When the price is = marginal cost. This means that if you increase your production, the benefits-profits will be the same as if you produce the same quantity.

When the Price > Marginal cost, means that consumers demand more for that good, so the producer has an incentive to increase the supply

When the Price < Marginal cost, means that production is higher than the consumer's demand. This is an incentive to decrease the supply.

For this case, the best option is to continue producing the same quantity of units, 1000 units
