Answer:

China ascended in the global community as the country with the fastest sustainable economic growth when it decided to become open to foreign businesses and investors.

This started when it implemented a free-market reform act which helped in an increase in its Gross Domestic Products by almost 10 percent thereby making it a big force in the global economy.

Answer:

Today, China has established itself as a global superpower in economic, military, strategic and political matters: it has the highest GDP in the world, one of the strongest armies and is part of the UN Security Council. Although it has not reached the United States, it has surpassed other global powers such as Russia, France or the United Kingdom in terms of its power in international geopolitics.

But this situation does not come from long ago, but began to take shape in the 1970s, with the first rapprochements between China and the United States in the middle of the Cold War. This movement gave China the international recognition that until then had been held by Taiwan, and diplomatically approached that country to the great powers of the time.

Then, in the 1990s, with the rise to power of Deng Xiaoping, who after Mao's death began to modernize the country, slowly but progressively removing him from the harsh communism in which this leader had plunged the country, towards a model known as "market socialism ", which combined both economic systems.

As a result of the insertion into the world, China obtained the cession of Hong Kong and Macao by Great Britain and Portugal respectively. This added greater economic benefits to the country, as a result of these cities being large commercial and manufacturing centers.

Lastly, a no less important factor in the growth of Chinese power has been its enormous population of more than a billion inhabitants. This has facilitated the insertion of companies in China, which arrive captivated by the abundant and efficient workforce. Thus, the country has also become an important industrial pole at a global level.

Which Progressive policy influenced the Seventeenth Amendment?
nadya68 [22]

Explanation:

Critics of the system claimed that the senators behaved like property for lobbyists and that it wasn't about their competence but about what they could do for those who financed them. That's why they added the 17th amendment to enable popular sovereignty when it came to choosing senators.
