AnnZ [28]

Answer:

If we are talking about current times, manufacturing production of the world has taken a crear shift toward the Far East.

Currently, the largest East Asian country: China, is also the largest manufacturer in the world, accounting for 28% of total global manufacturing. This has led some commentators to declare that China is the "factory of the world".

What compromise did henry clay achieve in order to resolve the nullification crisis?
arlik [135]

The nullification crisis was a crisis between South and North America. It happened during the presidency of Andrew Jackson and it consisted of the Ordinance of Nullification that made possible to the state of South Carolina to nullify federal laws that were passed by the United States Congress.

Henry Clay was a congressman and during that time he made the proposal for the Compromise of 1850. This compromise was a package of laws that were passed by the Congress, it created New Mexico and Utah, admitted California as a free state, made Texas loose territory for New Mexico state, ended Washington DC slave trade and made easier to slave owners to recover slaves that ran away. Basically, this Compromise tried to cool things down and actually delayed civil war.
