The answer for that would be "A, Land west of the Mississippi River was not good for farming" because according to answers.com, it says " People moved to the west because in the east there was no room for farming, economic depression, and there was no space for agriculture." So in this case, it is "A". Hope this answered what you needed. Ask me more questions and I will be sure to answer them. :)

Answer:

Land west of the Mississippi River was not good for farming.

Explanation:

In colonial America agriculture was extremely important for the small population that settled in this territory. Agriculture was the most significant and important form of food and small trade that was beginning to rise, so it was important for communities to settle in a region with soil and climate conducive to agriculture.

The land west of the Mississippi River was not good for agriculture, and this made the land unattractive to people, but as the good land for agriculture was quickly populated, some people had to occupy the west of the Mississippi River, but few people submitted to a land with little agricultural capacity.

In three to four sentences describe what standards you think are needed to create an ideal society?
lions [1.4K]
I believe an ideal society has enough laws to protect the citizens and create a safe environment, while also still maintaining a comfortable level of freedom so one doesn't feel restricted in life. I believe people should be able to ride dirt bikes on the road and get their driver's license as soon as they turn 16 regardless of whether or not they had it for a year, to give a couple examples. Obviously the laws such as not murdering or stealing should be put in effect, but we should let teenagers start working earlier and simple things like that which we can do to create a perfect society everyone can enjoy and feel safe in.
