The Berlin Wall being destructed.
Explanation:
When World War II finally ended, Germany got split up into two parts. West Germany was taken control by the Allies, while East Germany was controlled by the Soviet Union.
East Germany was run by a government that centered around communism, which overtime many people did not agree with. The citizens that resided in East Germany started leaving and going to West Germany. So many people started leaving that the government of East Germany started worrying about it and decided that they needed to take action.
This lead East German leaders to build the Berlin Wall, which separated West and East Germany from each other. If any East Germans were caught trying to move to the West, they would be imprisoned or even shot on the spot.
Eventually, people from across the globe caught word of this and wanted to help free East German people from communist rule. United States President, Ronald Reagan gave a speech in which he clearly stated he wanted to tear down the Berlin Wall and free the people. A couple of years or so later, the Berlin wall finally got torn down and the collapse of the Soviet Union came with it. This freed Germany and could now obtain a freely elected government.
The answer is Santa Anna because, On February 23, a Mexican force comprising somewhere between 1,800 and 6,000 men (according to various estimates) and commanded by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna began a siege of the fort. The Texans held out for 13 days, but on the morning of March 6 Mexican forces broke through a breach in the outer wall of the courtyard and overpowered them. Santa Anna ordered his men to take no prisoners, and only a small handful of the Texans were spared. One of these was Susannah Dickinson, the wife of Captain Almaron Dickinson (who was killed) and her infant daughter Angelina. Santa Anna sent them to Houston’s camp in Gonzalez with a warning that a similar fate awaited the rest of the Texans if they continued their revolt. The Mexican forces also suffered heavy casualties in the Battle of the Alamo, losing between 600 and 1,600 men.
The Classical Era set the scene. It brought us the major civilizations, religions, and trade routes. But, what happens when all of the major world powers collapse? This is the Post-Classical era. The major world powers come from places you might not expect. There are some powers that are similar to the ones before and the ones after (Byzantine, China). But, the major players in the Post-Classical era come from totally backwards places. One sprouts out of a cave in the Arabian desert. The other comes from the base of a mountain on the steppes in Central Asia. I call this era, Muslims & Mongols. That's not everything, but it just about sums up the basics. (Of course, Trade, Migrations, Religion, and Labor are important...) The Post Classical Era is the FIRST era that represents 20% of the test. From here on out, these eras are worth more than the first two.
A reason for the growth of large mental institutions during the 1800s is due to poverty in that era, causing mental health problems such as depression and problems brought on by the stress and anxiety of struggling to afford to live. This increased the requirement for mental institutions.
When agriculture began, the early people farmed, and soon got a surplus of food. This surplus of food meant that not everyone had to farm, and that led to specialized jobs. Specialized jobs led to trade which led to economy, a major key point in a civilization.
