Nativism is a practice or a support to preserving of an indigenous culture. This is also about revitalizing their culture by providing policies for protection and preservation of their culture and condition. It exists in a way that there are laws, organizations that are concerned about it. For some people, they do not use the word, Nativist, because it denotes some negative understanding of its relation to immigration in history but prefers the word, nationalist or patriot.
