What common language was used to spread the ideas of the Renaissance, the Reformation, and the Scientific Revolution? Latin Ital
Maurinko [17]
Latin both is and was used to spread information and knowledge. Look at scientific nomenclature, classic Catholic texts, or the art of the Renaissance; Latin is usually the basis of, lr at least or included in the work itself. Latin was used for this purpose because, as Latin is a dead language, it doesn’t change. Any other language, as it is still spoken, may be morphed or changed with small inconsistencies in dialects or spellings over time. Since Latin isn’t regularly spoken, it allows for knowledge to remain the same over time and lands. This is why Latin was the choice for a universal language used to communicate the vast amounts of know, edge being discovered at the time.

I hope this helps :)

What roles did thurgood marshall and oliver hill play in the demise of segregated schools?
dem82 [27]
Thurgood Marshall and Oliver Hill were two lawyers in the Brown vs. Board of Education case. In this case, Brown was fighting to end school segregation. Marshall and Hill helped Brown win this Supreme Court case and helped end school segregation.

This win in the Brown vs. Board of Education case stated that the idea of "separate but equal," established in the Plessy vs. Ferguson Supreme Court case, was unconstitutional. This separate but equal law violated the 14th amendment.

Hello!

I'm from Agora and I answered this in class.

Your answer is B.

Greece is dominated by mountains and rocky terrain, making inland travel difficult, leading them to develop into small City-States, and not a united Greece.

This is one of the post-Civil War amendments to the US Constitution that includes the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses.
bezimeni [28]
The excerpt above is part of the 14th amendment. This amendment was passed in 1868 and was supposed to help protect newly freed slaves. The goal in passing this was to ensure that African-Americans had the same legal rights as white citizens.

This due process clause has been used in several important Supreme Court cases to protect American citizens.
