Please help, I beg!!!

What Supreme Court case established “separate but equal” in 1896?
Alona [7]

Answer:

Plessy v. Freguson

Explaination:

In 1896, the Supreme court ruled that it was lawful to segregate public areas as long as there was "equal" places for people of both races. This case arose after an African American man refused to move the "white car" on a Louisianan train. However, this ruling only allowed for inequality to continue in America. It was uncommon for segregated areas to truly be equal. One example of this was schools. Many whitw schools would be well funded while colored schools lacked many necessities such as books and other matertials.
