The truth is obtained by a process known as the Socrates method (or maieutic), and you know that is really true because first, you must to accept that "you don't know nothing". After that, you are able to receive the answer and judge carefully if it's correct or not.

We know that t[he proposition is truth (really truth) is because this method attests that through questions about a certain subject, the interlocutor is led to discover the truth about something. For Socrates, all knowledge is inherited in the human mind and can be stimulated through answers to questions asked in an insightful way.
