Decreased automobile sales.

The prices will increase which will cause less people to buy because they can't afford the new price. Taxes on products typically deter people from buying that product because the cost will go up to absorb the cost of the new tax to the supplier. A great example of this is the tax on cigarettes. As a means to get people to quit and make more money off of those buying, many states have put large taxes on cigarettes causing the price to double within a matter of a year or two after the tax went into place.

The correct answer is: "decreased automobile sales ".

Imposing a tax on purchasing a good (automobile) means adding a quantity to the amount charged, therefore the price charged for the product in the market rises.

According to the law of demand, the price is inversely related to the quantity demanded, which is the amount that consumers are willing to buy at a certain price. Therefore, if the price rises due to the imposition of the tax, the amount demanded by consumers will decrease.

1. In the years following World War One the German government printed massive
nordsb [41]

Answer:The Treaty of Versailles forced Germany to grant territories to Belgium, Czechoslovakia and Poland and to give up all of its colonies. It forced Germany to reduce its military forces to 100,000 men and allowed for the occupation of the Rhineland by the Allied forces. Germany was forced to accept full responsibility for initiating World War I. France demanded huge reparation payments. The defeated powers felt the Treaty was unfair and soon violated the military and financial conditions. When Hitler came into power, he promised to take back the German territories and to demilitarize the Rhineland. The promise of becoming a world power again made the people support him. On September 1, 1939 Hitler invaded Poland. France and Britain declared war on Germany two days later. This was the beginning of World War II.

What was the significance of the Marbury v. Madison case that was argued before the Supreme Court in 1803?
Debora [2.8K]

Marbury v. Madison (1803) was a Supreme Court case that settled the principle of judicial review in the United States, determining that American courts hold the authority to strike down laws, statutes, and some government actions that contradict the U.S. Constitution.

This decision established that the U.S. Constitution is an actual law, not merely a declaration of political principles, and helped set the boundary separating the executive and judicial branches of government.
