Firstly we need to find the biggest number which is less than 34 and can be divided into 10 -- which is 30.
Each child will receive 30/10=3 party bag and 34-30=4 >> 4 is the remainder mean.

castortr0y [4]

Mark has to ride 50 kilometers. He already rode 18.23 and 13.94.

18.23km+13.94km=32.17km

50km-32.17km=17.83km

Mark will have to ride 17.83km more. The correct answer is B.

Suppose we lined up all the people in the world (about 7.4 billion people). Assume that each person occupied 13 inches of the li
finlep [7]

Answer:

The answer to your question is: # of times = 60.7

Step-by-step explanation:

data

7.4 billion people

each person occupied 13 inches

Earth circumference = 25000 miles

length of the lines = 13 in x 7.4 billion people

                               = 13 x 7 400 000 000

                              = 9.62 x 10 ¹⁰ in

Convert in to miles

                     1 mile  --------------- 63360 in

                     x mi     ---------------  9.62 x 10 ¹⁰  in

     x = 1518308.1 mi

Now divide, the line of people by the circumference

         # of times =  1518308.1 mi /  25000 mi = 60.7

UNO [17]

Answer: she played 5 games and went on 8 rides

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represent the number of games that Sydney played.

Let y represent the number of rides that Sydney went on.

Each game cost $1.25 and each ride cost $2.25. If Sydney spent $24.25 altogether at the carnival, then the expression is

1.25x + 2.25y = 24.25- - - - - - - - - - -1

If the number of rides that she went on is 3 more than the number of games that she played, the expression would be

y = x + 3

Substituting y = x + 3 into equation 1, it becomes

1.25x + 2.25(x + 3) = 24.25

1.25x + 2.25x + 6.75 = 24.25

3.5x = 24.25 - 6.75

3.5x = 17.5

x = 17.5/3.5

x = 5

y = x + 3 = 5 + 3

y = 8
