The word Suribachi was an actual message transmitted by the code talkers during an important battle in World War II. The message

relayed by the code talkers let the Allied commanders know that US Marines had taken Mount Suribachi. This was a turning point in the battle and in the war itself. Once the marines gained a foothold on Mount Suribachi, they were able to take the rest of the island, destroying the Japanese stronghold there. In this activity, you will use sections from the “Navajo Code Talkers’ Dictionary” to decode and encode your own messages.
Part A
You must tell your commander that a scout is attacking an enemy fortification with grenades. Using the “Navajo Code Talkers' Dictionary,” write your message in both Navajo and English.
Part B
After you sent your message, the commander responded with the following message:

Reinforcement of hummingbird squash is in fox light.

What does he mean? Consult the “Navajo Code Talkers' Dictionary” to decode the message.

Answer:

Part A

Navajo: Haasidalsizigih altahjejay ahnasozi nimasi

English: Short racoon attack cliff dwelling with potatoes

Part B

The closest translation of this I got is: Reinforcement of fighter plane squadron is in flight

This likely means that a squadron of fighter planes/air support is in flight and on it's way to support you.

Gimme info about the North Central Plains. Talk about the Industry/Economy/jobs and Vegetation & Wildlife
Paha777 [63]

Answer:

The North Central Plains region is mostly rural grasslands and small towns with a few large cities. Most of this prairie land is thick grasses. There is also a cross timbers area full of hardwood trees. Farming is common here because of the fertile soil. So there are many kinds of crops grown in this region. There also commonly short prairie grass. Climate in the region/area can be extreme. In the winters its cold, but in the summer it can be the hottest area in Texas. The average rainfall is 20 - 30 inches a year and during the spring there can be violent storms and tornadoes. Paul Duro Canyon- It is a state park that encompasses more than 20,000 acres near Amarillo. It is home to many rare animals.

Joyland Amusement Park- This amusement park is located within the Mackenzie Park Recreation Area and has more than 30 rides and attractions.

Law Enforcement Museum- This museum in Eastland is located within the Eastland County Jail built in 1897. It was once home to the "Santa Claus Bank Robber". Ranching- It is a large industry in the Central Plains region. People commonly raise and sell Texas longhorn cattle, and angora goats. Agriculture- It also makes up a large portion of this region's economy. The vast grasslands full of thick grasses and rich soil make this region perfect for farming and grazing.

Oil and Natural Gas-There aren't tons of large cities in the Central Plains, so there is a lot of rural land for digging for and oil and natural gas drilling. Hope this helps!^_^
