% correct = 37/50 * 100 = 74%

The answer is:  " 74% " .
_____________________
% = percent = parts per 100 = x/ 100 ;

37/50 = x/100 ;

Looking at the denominators;

50 * (what value?) = 100 ?

→ 100 ÷ 50 = 2 ;

So;  50 * 2 = 100 ;

So;  37/50 = (37*2) / (50*2) = 74/100 = 74 % .

The answer is:  " 74% " .

Create a quadratic polynomial function f(x) and a linear binomial in the form (x − a).
chubhunter [2.5K]
Lets create both equations and :

f(x) = 5x^2 + 1

linear binomial form: x - 4

according to the remainder theorem, x - 4 is a divisor of f(x) if and only if f(4) = 0
f(4) = 5*16 + 1 = 81

hence x - 4 is not a divisor of f(x)

Two garden plots are to have the same area. One is square and one is rectangular. The rectangular plot is 4 meters wide and 16 m
AlexFokin [52]

side = 8 m

the area of the rectangle = length × width = 16 × 4 = 64 m²

the area of the square = s² ( where s is the length of a side ), hence

s² = 64 ( since areas are equal )

take the square root of both sides

s = √64 = 8 m

An empty box is shaped like a rectangular prism. The box has a base area of 9/10 square foot and a height of 1/3 foot. How much
Ymorist [56]
Since we already know the base area, we simply have to multiply it by the height to get the volume of the box (how much packing material it can contain)

9/10 x 1/3

9     x     1   =  3
10          3       10       (I cancelled the 9 and 3 and made them 3 and 1                                                          respectively)
The answer is 3/10 ft³
