The Great Depression (1931.).

Dear Journal,

LIFE

Life has been very discouraging, and we have at long last achieved the unavoidable, and we have lost everything. We thought it was a stage, a basic flaw in time or a stone in the shoe of America yet no it has been to a greater extent a crisply honed sharp edge to the foot of society. Unsettling it is to watch society break apart before your eyes as you watch like a powerless wide-looked at bovine. What are we to do the nourishment is running short everybody is losing their homes and all that they adore? America has turned out to be insipid and essentially not what the world expected out of what should be the place that is known for fresh chances to succeed.

ECONOMY

My significant other has lost his activity at the plant, and our home is verging on being not anymore our own. He has moved toward becoming a remarkable torment, and in profound pain, however, I know I should not point the finger at him for his best mind in light of the fact that numerous are losing their property and everything else they at any point claimed or cherished. It warms my heart to see the general population of America fall into a profound dim opening and nobody recognizes what to do. Didn't nobody expect this I know so there was no chance that it could have been maintained a strategic distance from and god knows we are largely enduring, and feeling the agony, and limitless.

Rustic Life in the South

Here in the South; we didn't have much in the first place to know the wave has struck us quick, and hard, and has made everything impossibly harder for us; cause we as of now a persecuted people. We have thrived, yes, however, we lost the occupations we had as, rare as they were from the earliest starting point on the grounds that don't no white man need to give a Negro a well-paying employment, or an occupation at all so my significant other has been nervous about that, and the ongoing misfortune. Despite the fact that every one of the issues and all the misfortune whites still treat us short of what somebody who ain't a subject. America is tormented.

Hope that helps some!!!!!! : )
