Answer:

This is a horizontal bar graph.

Explanation:

Bar graph or bar chart is used to represent data(which is in form of categories) in a graphical or pictorial manner. This helps in easy understanding of big numerical figures and can help in comparing the data more efficiently. Bar graph is widely used to compare sizes of different categories relatively. Bars in bar graph are always equally spaced. Bar graphs are used where data is present in form of categories like types of fruits, different students, etc. But where continuous data is given <em>histograms</em> should be used. For example - If a survey of population among different years is to be represented , it can easily be shown by Bar graph. As a graph has 2 axis bar graph also contains 2 axis i.e. X axis and Y axis.

There are 2 types of bar graphs as following :

  • Horizontal bar graph - In this graph, bars are horizontal and size of x axis values are compared where y axis values contains categories.
  • Vertical bar graph - In this graph, bars are vertical and bars represent size of x axis values which are categories and y axis values determine length of the bar.

. Write a toString method for this class. The method should return a string containing the base, height and area of the triangle
marta [7]

Answer:

Check the explanation

Explanation:

Circle.java

public class Circle {

private double radius;

public Circle(double r) {

radius = r;

}

public double getArea() {

return Math.PI * radius * radius;

}

public double getRadius() {

return radius;

}

public String toString() {

String str;

str = "Radius: " + radius + "Area: " + getArea();

return str;

}

public boolean equals(Circle c) {

boolean status;

if (c.getRadius() == radius)

status = true;

else

status = false;

return status;

}

public boolean greaterThan(Circle c) {

boolean status;

if (c.getArea() > getArea())

status = true;

else

status = false;

return status;

}

}

I have created a class also to test this class below is the class: -

MainCircle.java

public class MainCircle {

public static void main(String args[]) {

Circle c = new Circle(2.5);

Circle c1 = new Circle(2.5);

Circle c2 = new Circle(4.5);

System.out.println(c);

System.out.println(c1);

System.out.println(c2);

System.out.println("Is c and c1 equal : "+c.equals(c1));

System.out.println("Is c2 greater than c1 : "+c1.greaterThan(c2));

}

}

Output: -

Radius: 2.5Area: 19.634954084936208

Radius: 2.5Area: 19.634954084936208

Radius: 4.5Area: 63.61725123519331

Is c and c1 equal : true

Is c2 greater than c1 : true

The function below takes two numeric parameters. The first parameter specifies the number of hours a person worked and the secon
Triss [41]

Answer:

def calculate_pay(total_worked_hours, rate_per_hour):

   if total_worked_hours > 40:

       return (40 * rate_per_hour) + ((total_worked_hours - 40) * 2 * rate_per_hour)

   else:

       return total_worked_hours * rate_per_hour

Explanation:

  • Create the calculate_pay function that takes 2 parameters.
  • Inside the function check whether the total_worked_hours is greater than 40 and then return the pay by calculating with the help of formula for work over 40 hours.
  • Otherwise return the pay by multiplying the total_worked_hours with rate_per_hour.
