Hello!! I think that you would need to change those goals if you were diagnosed with HIV/AIDS because they are life threatening diseases. Whenever you get the HIV virus, it will ultimately lead to AIDS and that disease will be the result of death. I think you would need to change those goals because you will not live as long as you may have hoped/wanted. You could change those goals such as visiting places that you wanted to in retirement or fix a will in place for children/loved ones. You absolutely would. We all plan that we will live for a while, so we do not plan ahead for what could happen until it actually does happen.
