Patient with blood type AB RH+ can receive any type of blood, but patient with blood type AB RH- can receive all type of blood which also have RH- factor.

So here if we don't know the RH factor then the safest option is to give this patient AB RH-.

But if we would know that patient have RH+ factor then he can receive any blood type no matter what is the RH factor or blood type.

What evidence must be considered when determining whether or not a trait is an adaptation
Rashid [163]

Answer:

An adaptation can be viewed as a trait that emerged and developed for a certain condition so as to increases the organism changes of survival or fitness.

For a trait to be called adaptive, it must have had a positive influence but not majorly a trait that develops in reaction to a certain selection pressure.

Categorically, a trait is seen as adaptation if it is the aftermath of selection, and adaptive if it is of favourable influence at the existing time.

Concerning cells, structure determines<br> value<br> health<br> function<br> size
Ivenika [448]

Explanation:

-function

Cells are the basic microscopic units of all organisms. There are two cell types:

  • Prokaryotic ( meaning ➡️ pro: before and Karyon: for kernel/nut) describes organisms which don’t have a cell nucleus or other organelles surrounded by membranes.
  • Eukaryotic  (eu meaning true), are organisms with a cell nucleus and several other organelles surrounded by membranes.
  • Example prokaryotes do not contain: nuclei , Golgi apparatus, chloroplasts, mitochondria

Both may contain a cell wall (seen in eukaryotic fungi and plant cells)

Their structural components (i.e. their makeup) determine their function (what they do) . For instance, photosynthesizing cells in algae and plants have structures called chloroplasts. These contain chlorophyll, a specialized compound which facilitates the conversion of light energy to energy stored in carbohydrates.Organisms, are either unicellular (single- celled) or multicellular (many celled).
