The correct answer is: "the maximum profit".

A supply function represents the quantity of a certain good or service that producers are willing to supply at different prices level. The law of supply states that there is a direct relationship between price and quantity supplied (ceteris paribus).

Higher market prices would encourage producers to manufacture and sell a larger total output, attempting to maximize their profits.

Make a list of arguments against the annexation of Hawaii by the US government
polet [3.4K]
When the Hawaiian islands were formally annexed by the United States in 1898, the event marked end of a lengthy internal struggle between native Hawaiians and white American businessmen for control of the Hawaiian government. In 1893 the last monarch of Hawaii, Queen Lili'uokalani, was overthrown by party of businessmen, who then imposed a provisional government. Soon after, President Benjamin Harrison submitted a treaty to annex the Hawaiian islands to the U.S. Senate for ratification. In 1897, the treaty effort was blocked when the newly-formed Hawaiian Patriotic League, composed of native Hawaiians, successfully petitioned the U.S. Congress in opposition of the treaty.

Imagine that you are a Briton reading this in 1841. How might you react? Explain.
yKpoI14uk [10]

If I were a Briton reading this in 1841, this would be my reaction.

 • My reaction would be a surprise, causing me some indignity for this situation.
 • Industries were getting reach at the expense of mother nature.
 • Factories and fabrics were polluting the environment, and that had caused me to be upset with the industries.
 • Although you forgot to attach the text, we did deep research and found that the text is "The Old Red Sandstone."
 • It was written by Hugh Miller in 1841.
 • It describes how steamboats discharged the trash and residual materials in the river.
 • This polluted the rivers and the environment.

We conclude that the industrialization of the English economy also brought severe problems such as the pollution of the rivers, the air, and the environment in general.

The Monroe doctrine was a doctrine used to oppose European colonial in the United States. It was a united states policy that started in 1823 in the US. The US had pledged to eschew from European business and also wants Europeans to do the same in the Western Hemisphere.

Adams-Onis Treaty also called "Transcontinental Treaty" that started on February 12, 1819, this treaty was adopted to settle border issues which involves the Spanish empire and the United States that really helped national security. What really lead to this treaty was the constant border raiding by Seminoles out of Spanish Florida. This treaty in Spanish is "Tratado de Adam- Onions"
