most of the time, feelings don't have evidence to support an answer on a test or why someone's dog is dying. Or why some new parents don't vaccinate their kids (if they have that option, some babies can't tolerate the vaccine but most can).

Giving a person a logical explanation just sounds more mature and will leave you correct most of the time (if you know what you talking about and have studied on the subject). Example: more evidence with a logical explanation, has proven that vaccinating your kids is actually super healthy for them. they actually have stats and everything that proves it. Whereas someone who is going purely by emotion to explain why vaccinating your newborn is bad... isn't going to get them very far since there really is no evidence against it.
