It helped people read in their own language, it provided better education, and it helped people read the bible and understand it. :)
The Lend-Lease Act provided weapons and such to the Allies during World War ll. The United States gave money to Allied countries to buy weapons from the United States.
It’s either the first or last one because it gives the reader time to think on what’s about to happen next.
