Travis bought a share of stock for $31.50, the stock paid a dividend of $0.85, and Travis sold it six months later for $27.65. W
Luden [163]

Answer:

Dollar profit loss = $3

Holding period return = negative 9%

Explanation:

In order to find the dollar profit or loss return we will add the dividend and selling price because that the dividend plus the selling price is the cash that Travis receives or the positive cash and we will subtract the buying price from it because it is the negative cash flow. So we will add all the positive cash flows and subtract negative cash flow from it in order to find the dollar profit loss or return.

Selling price = 27.65

Dividend = 0.85

Selling price + Dividend= 28.5

Selling price = 31.50

Dollar profit loss or return = 28.50-31.5=-3

Loss= $3

In order to find the holding period return we will divide add the dividend and selling price , subtract buying price from it and then divide it by buying price.

(27.65+0.85-31.5)/31.5= -0.09 = -9%

Holding period return = negative 9%

If a currency reform has no effects on the economy's real variables, why do governments typically institute currency reforms i
Ainat [17]

Answer:

The correct anwer is There may be a psychological benefit in that currency reform can have a positive effect on inflation expectations. However, for the stabilization plan to succeed, it must be backed up by concrete policies to reduce monetary growth.

Explanation:

Monetary policy or financial policy is a branch of economic policy that uses the amount of money as a variable to control and maintain economic stability. It includes the decisions of the monetary authorities regarding the money market, which modify the amount of money or the interest rate. When it is applied to increase the amount of money, it is called an expansive monetary policy - quantitative expansion - and when it is applied to reduce it, a restrictive monetary policy.

Four basic objectives of monetary policy can be stated in different ways:

 1. money value stability (price containment, inflation prevention);
 2. higher rate of economic growth;
 3. full occupation or full employment (highest possible level of employment);
 4. avoid permanent imbalances in the balance of payments and maintenance of a stable exchange rate and protection of the position of international reserves.

Andreas93 [3]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "B": practice the pitch.

Explanation:

To close more sales, salespeople use different sales speeches depending on the type of product they sell and the customer that they have in front of them. When adopting a new speech, it should be practiced with some clients to polish some aspects of speech that might not work and to find out which features are attractive to them.

Some vendors practice like scenarios, use mirrors or record their voice during the practice-the-pitch stage.
